Un holograma de Michael Jackson actúa en los Billboard Music Awards

Si por algo destacaron los Billboard Music Awards de este año fue por la actuación de Michael Jackson. El fallecido artista volvió a la vida en forma de holograma en el escenario de Las Vegas para promocionar su segundo disco póstumo Xscape. De fondo, sonó Slave To The Rhythm.

Pero la noche estuvo llena de actuaciones. Abrió la gala Pitbull con su tema para el Mundial de futbol, We Are One (Ole Ola), en el que le acompañó Jennifer Lopez, quien repitió luego con First Love. Lorde promocionó su nuevo single, Tennis Court, y Shakira cantó Empire. Katy Perry y Miley Cyrus actuaron desde sus respectivos conciertos. Robin Thicke estrenó una nueva canción dedicada a su mujer, Get Her Back, y la exitosa Iggy Azalea hizo doblete con su propio single, Fancy junto a Charli XCX, y con Ariana Grande en Problem.

Justin Timberlake fue uno de los grandes ganadores de esta edición de los Billboard Music Awards. El cantante se hizo con los premios de mejor artista, mejor artista masculino, artista Billboard 200, mejor artista R&B y disco Billboard 200 por The 20/20 Experience. Robin Thicke triunfó en las categorías de canciones gracias a Blurred Lines.
